I am a long time Disney fan and visiting the theme parks was really a dream come true. When you visit the parks you feel like you’re in a ‘Disney bubble’. In this bubble, you are so emersed in this magical world and there is so much merchandise that you feel like you need to have. A lot of this stuff I didn’t really need as much as I felt like I did in those few magical days (eg. Minnie Ears). However, there are some items that I cherish and are happy I bought.
Since visiting the Disney parks in Tokyo, Florida and Paris, I am more of a fanatic for the Disney merchandise. At the parks, there are some exclusive items that you can’t get anywhere else, such as Minnie Paris Collection or The Cherry Tree Lane Collection. However, there are some other brands that sell very cool Disney inspired clothing and accessories for adults, that aren’t tacky and still inspires your Peter Pan complex. These are some of my favorite brands with Disney inspired clothing and accessories.
By the way, if you are interested in visiting Disney parks or want to reminisce with me, see my photos and guides for the Disney theme parks here.
Lotus Leggings have a whole range of Disney themed leggings (long and 3/4), sports bras, dresses, skirts, and bathers. They are available for women, men, and kids, in a variety of sizes (small to plus size). I first discovered Lotus leggings from a friend, who was telling me about this very cool Beauty and the Beast dress she bought online. So next minute I was purchasing that dress, workout attire and fashion leggings. They are all very comfortable and the fun designs really brighten up my day. They often have big sales and ship worldwide.
Hot Topic has a huge range Disney apparel and accessories for just about every a Disney movie. You can find T-shirts, leggings, bathers, underwear, pajamas, cosplay costumes, jewelry, handbags and more. Some clothing is inspired by Disney characters styles, while others picture characters or their catch phrases. The sizes vary from small to plus for woman and men. The prices are quite reasonable and they ship internationally.
Unique Vintage’s The Happiest Collection on Earth offers clothing that has been inspired by Disney characters. I love how they have tapped into those old world styles to give a fresh interpretation of the magical world of Disney.
The Bradford exchange is an international online store that sells Disney merchandise and collectibles. For apparel, they offer women jackets, jumpers and shoes. However, depending on your location, it will determine what items are available for you to buy The prices are more premium, which may be due to quality. The items pictured below are from the Australian site.
In the bedroom, I don’t mind wearing something a bit fun. However, I want something with good quality fabric and it must be comfortable and age appropriate. There are a few brands that do very cool grown up Disney PJ’s, such as Top Shop, Munki Munki, Primark and Peter Alexander. I haven’t listed them individually as most of these brands don’t do a huge Disney collection and styles change each season. Depending on your location will determine if you can buy in store or online.
Pandora is an international Danish Jewellery maker, which is known for their charm bracelets. However, their range also extends to bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings. I’m not a huge fan of charm bracelets, but the Pandora Disney Collection is adorable. I love that they are quite understated and elegant. No matter your age you can rock your favourite Disney character, whether you’re dressed casually or in formal attire. You can find Pandora stores worldwide and they can also ship internationally.
Couture Kingdom is an Australian brand that specializes in Disney jewellery. Their entire range is inspired by different Disney characters, including Snow White, Minnie, Bambi and Alice. Their designs range from understated to statement pieces. They currently only ship to Australia and New Zealand and you can find their stock in numerous stores across Australia.
Dooney & Bourke collaborated with Disney to produce an amazing Disney Parks handbag collection. I first saw some of their collection at the theme parks and fell in love. They are quite pricey, as they are high quality in design and materials (leather). They come in a variety of sizes and styles and are inspired by different characters and parks. You can find their bags from The Disney Store and a variety other online stores.
Danielle Nicole and Disney collaborated to produce this amazingly quirky Disney collection of handbags. Disney princess, their friends and foes have been fashioned into different styles of bags, including shoulderbags, clutches and backpacks. They are each so unique and unlike anything else on the market. They can be purchased from the Disney store, Danielle Nicole website (ship internationally) and a variety of other stores across the US.
Loungefly is an affordable handbag and accessories brand that produce quirky and crazy designs. Their Disney collection range from cute to edgy interpretations of your favourite disney characters fashioned into handbags, wallets and backpacks. Currently only ship in the US, however their collection is available on other online stores.
Typo is an international store that sells stationery, gifts, decor and more, but with a fresh twist. They currently have a range of Mickey Mouse inspired backpacks. They are reasonably priced and the style is quite understated so they will go with just about any outfit.
Are there any other brands that have Disney inspired clothing and accessories for adults that you love? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.
