I have finally finished sharing my travel adventures in Singapore, which I embarked on early this year. We had such a blast over there and I hope I inspired you to visit one day or revisit this amazing and evolving city/country again.

My favourite things
- Dish: Char kway teow
- Drink: Barley Drink
- Breakfast: Kopi coffee and Kava spread
- Hawker centres have variety of delicious food, clean and super cheap
- Food Republic Hawker Centres
- High hygiene standards for food and clean water
- Diverse cuisines, with many specialise styles from different regions
- Cultural diversity and harmony
- Everyone speaks English
- Always helpful sometimes blunt but usually friendly
- No bugs
- Big garden metropolis
- Kids facilities- toilets, activities, playground
Things that surprised me
- Not many traffic lights, cross in a pack
- No serviettes
- Summer all year round, still pack a cardigan for air conditioned venues
- Credit or nets (debit)
- Uber pay cash
- By height rather than age for public transport and some buffets
- No obvious police or security presence
- Up to 3 taxes for food outlets (hawker centres usually none)
As I write this I am currently on another trip in Scandinavia. If you asked me a month ago I would have said no we aren’t going anywhere, but a spontaneous decision has taken us to across the world. I will write a life update in a few days to let you know what we are up to.

Thanks Miss Bindas. We are only have about 5 days until we return from this 3 week trip. So many photos and experiences to share. I’m sad I have to come home but our stomachs and wallets need a break 😀
